Treatment Program


Cedar Grove's community based program focuses on learning more appropriate behavior through cognitive restructuring, contingency management and counseling. The living environment approximates a natural home and school environment as much as possible. The facility features a dormitory, educational building, administrative building and an outside play area.

An individualized treatment plan is developed jointly with the youth, family and/or referring agency. Each resident participates in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, which are designed to help them learn the skills necessary to make positive changes in their behavior, attitudes and interpersonal relationships.

The goal for all youth placed at Cedar Grove is to successfully reunite them with their family and their community upon completion of treatment.
